Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö's ten novels about Martin Beck and his colleagues belong to the classics of the Swedish cultural treasure. Together they wrote three short stories within 1969-1972, now published as a book for the first time. Included is also Per Wahlöö's debut novel from 1949 – published under the pseudonym Edner P Bech – together with a short story by Maj Sjöwall and a number of insights into their joint authorship.
