Lars Kepler makes a double showing on the Swedish bestseller lists this week. The Sailor, a stand-alone collection of short stories, lands the No. 2 spot on the paperback list. Medusa, the latest title in the Joona Linna series, comes in at No. 3 in hardcover.

Janna Granström is a Swedish actor working across film, television and theatre. She graduated from the School of Theatre in Luleå in 2009 and has since worked extensively in theatre, with an established stage career at both Stockholms Stadsteater and Dramaten.

She is known for her physical presence, her comic range and her ability to carry both humour and darkness within the same performance. She is closely associated with Konträr in Stockholm, one of Sweden’s most prominent venues for international and boundary-pushing performing arts. There, she contributes as creator, director and performer in productions that challenge conventional forms at the intersection of text, body and audience.

Her screen credits include the dramedy series Alla utom vi (2021–2024) and the feature films Cirkeln (2015), Så länge hjärtat slår (2024), Hemmet (2025) and Arkipelag (2026).

Among her upcoming projects are the second season of the acclaimed SVT drama Hundarna and a Netflix series, which is soon to be officially announced.

Actor Noel Flike has been nominated for the TV4 Rising Star Award for his performance in the comedy feature film Flaggan (2026).

The award celebrates emerging talent across both film and television. The jury has been searching for “the year’s most memorable performances in front of the camera” and “talents with exceptional artistic potential.”

The winner will be announced at the Stockholm International Film Festival on November 19.

Karin Magnusson has been awarded the Summer Prize 2026 for her debut novel Broken White. Founded to increase reading, this is the tenth anniversary of the Summer Prize.
