Kärleken The Love
The Clan #3
Josef is on the run. His years in the Clan has made him their worst enemy and there’s a high price on his head. But he cannot run forever. If he’s ever going to live a life in freedom and reunite with Antonia, he has to return to Sweden.
Following his father’s death, Muhammed is the head of the Clan and they are more powerful than ever. His sister Zara, however, is not mourning. She is plotting her revenge. With policeman Hjalmar on her side, they are both working tirelessly in the dark. The Clan must be destroyed.
Johanna has been placed in a group home. William lives in a villa in the nicer part of Sollentuna. Their realities are very different, but it doesn’t take long before they are both drawn into the Clan’s web. The young girl and the privileged boy easily move under the police’s radar. But soon lives are at stake and they need to choose which path to follow.
The Love is the third and final installment in the Clan trilogy. It is a stirring portrayal of gang criminality’s reckless violence and effect on our society, where individuals are enticed by money and status and innocent people are used and end up in the line of fire.
Reviews
-
“The many and short shifts in perspective gives the story a cinematic quality and ties the different storylines together effectively. Especially strong is the portrayal of how young people are recruited through social media and persuaded or pressured to perform serious crimes. /…/ The trilogy gets a distinct, melancholic, and emotionally satisfying ending.”
