Anders Roslund once again grabs three spots on the official weekly Swedish bestseller lists, where his Knock Knock is now No. 2 in hardcover and audio, and No. 3 in e-books. On the audio list is also Jo Nesbø with Knife, at No. 4, and Stina Jackson with The Silver Road, at No. 5. Nesbø’s twelfth Harry Hole novel also comes in at No. 5 in e-book.
Today is the theatrical release for 438 Days, and the anticipated film has already received great praise in Swedish press.

438 Days is directed by Jesper Ganslandt, written by Peter Birro, and produced by Miso Film.
The spy thriller series Agent Hamilton, based on Jan Guillou’s bestselling Hamilton novels, will see its world premiere held in October at the largest TV market in the world: MIPCOM.
Petter Rosenlund is the show’s head writer and Erik Leijonborg its lead and conceptual director, supported by Lisa Farzaneh and Per Hanefjord.
In the series, Swedish agent Carl Hamilton is caught up in the investigation of a terrorist attack committed by extremists. At the same time, key locations in Sweden are hit by a series of cyber-attacks requiring highly sophisticated skills. Despite having officially left the Swedish intelligence service, Hamilton is now back to defend his country and soon finds himself in the middle of a life-threatening mission against an invisible enemy with traces leading back to Russian, Swedish and US intelligence forces.

Dagens Nyheter, Sweden’s largest newspaper, has chosen Jørn Lier Horst’s The Cabin and Niklas Natt och Dag’s 1794 as two crime novels to look forward to this fall. The Cabin is Horst’s second book in the Cold Case Quartet, and 1794 is the sequel to Natt och Dag’s The Wolf and the Watchman.
Jo Nesbø’s Knife is No. 2 on week 33’s (August 12th – 18th) official hardcover list in Norway, featuring also on the e-book list where it is No. 3. The No. 5 spot on the e-book list is occupied by Jørn Lier Horst & Thomas Enger’s Smoke Screen.
The paperback category sees Stefan Ahnhem’s Motive X appear at No. 4, and Jørn Lier Horst’s The Cabin at No. 5.

Dream is created by Aron Levander and Filip Hammarström, based on an idea by Johan Rudolphie. Levander and Hammarström are also the series writers alongside Dunja Vujovic. Two seasons have been produced back to back, with Amir Chamdin as director for season 1, and Kirke Ailio Rodwell for season 2.
Dream is set on an island, reeling from an asteroid hit. A young girl discovers that she and three of her new classmates have shared the same strange dream the night before the impact, manifesting their own futures. When the group learns that a horrible accident is set to take place – one they can knowingly stop – their decision to work together to prevent it from happening inadvertently changes the course of their futures forever.
Dream is produced by Palladium Fiction, and is now available on the Swedish FVOD platform SVT Play.
The success crime drama series The Truth Will Out has been nominated for ‘Best Drama’, ‘Best Male Actor’ (Robert Gustafsson) and ‘Best Female Actor’ (Ia Langhammer) at the 2019 Kristallen Awards. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony on August 30.
The Truth Will Out is written by Aron Levander and Hans Jörnlind, and is based on an original idea by the award-winning author and criminologist Leif GW Persson.
The hit series premiered on Channel 5 in Sweden in August 2018 and is available on the SVOD platform Viaplay.
