The weekly Norwegian bestseller lists

Jo Nesbø’s just published Knife grabs two No. 1 spots on the weekly bestseller lists of week 23. The novel comes in first both in hardcover and in e-book. The paperback list’s No. 1 placement goes to Jørn Lier Horst’s The Cabin. Jørn Lier Horst also appears together with Hans Jørgen Sandnes on the hardcover list, where their latest activity books for children, The Search for the Magician’s Tome, is No. 5.

Lars Kepler meanwhile appears at No. 2 on the paperback list with Lazarus. Jo Nesbø’s Macbeth follows not far behind at No. 4.

The last list, the one for nonfiction, sees Hedvig Montgomery’s The Kindergarten Age climb again, ending up at No. 4 this time.

Fredrik Backman No. 4 in Sweden

Fredrik Backman’s Anxious People continues to feature on the Swedish bestseller lists. The stand-alone novel comes in at No. 4 on the e-book list for week 23.

‘Knife’ No. 1 in Russia

Jo Nesbø’s Knife, published by Inostranka in Russia, is No. 1 on Moscow Books’ bestseller list. Moscow Books is one of the leading book shops and retailers in Russia.

‘Knife’ No. 1 in Denmark

The official Danish bestseller list for the first week of June is in and Jo Nesbø’s Knife, published by Modtryk on June 6th, went straight to No. 1 on the list for hardcover fiction.

‘Knife’ No. 1 in Slovakia

Jo Nesbø’s new Harry Hole novel, Knife, was published by Ikar in Slovakia yesterday and went straight to No. 1 on the Slovak bestseller list.

Fredrik Backman on the Swedish bestseller lists

Week 22’s (May 27th – June 2nd) Swedish bestseller lists has Fredrik Backman’s Anxious People climbing in ebook, bouncing back up to No. 3 this week, and coming in at No. 4 in audio.

The May bestseller lists in Sweden

The official May bestseller lists see Fredrik Backman appear at No. 3 in Hardcover with Anxious People. The novel is also No. 3 on the ebook list, and No. 5 on the audio one. Backman is joined by Lundell, whose Weekdays 2 is No. 5 on the hardcover list and No. 4 in ebook.

Jørn Lier Horst & Thomas Enger No. 1 in Norway

Death Deserved, the first installment in Jørn Lier Horst & Thomas Enger’s Blix & Ramm series, is No. 1 on the official Norwegian paperback bestseller list also this week.
