The weekly Swedish bestseller lists
The official Swedish bestseller lists for week 33 see Anders Roslund’s Knock Knock grab three of the top spots once again. Roslund’s latest novel comes in at No. 2 in hardcover, audio, and e-book. Jo Nesbø features on the same three lists with Knife, the twelfth Harry Hole novel. It is No. 3 in audio and e-book and No. 4 in hardcover.
SVT’s new flagship family series ‘Dream’
Dream is created by Aron Levander and Filip Hammarström, based on an idea by Johan Rudolphie. Levander and Hammarström are also the series writers alongside Dunja Vujovic. Two seasons have been produced back to back, with Amir Chamdin as director for season 1, and Kirke Ailio Rodwell for season 2.
Dream is set on an island, reeling from an asteroid hit. A young girl discovers that she and three of her new classmates have shared the same strange dream the night before the impact, manifesting their own futures. When the group learns that a horrible accident is set to take place – one they can knowingly stop – their decision to work together to prevent it from happening inadvertently changes the course of their futures forever.
Dream is produced by Palladium Fiction, and is now available on the Swedish FVOD platform SVT Play.

‘The Truth Will Out’ nominated for the Kristallen Awards
The success crime drama series The Truth Will Out has been nominated for ‘Best Drama’, ‘Best Male Actor’ (Robert Gustafsson) and ‘Best Female Actor’ (Ia Langhammer) at the 2019 Kristallen Awards. The winners will be announced at the award ceremony on August 30.
The Truth Will Out is written by Aron Levander and Hans Jörnlind, and is based on an original idea by the award-winning author and criminologist Leif GW Persson.
The hit series premiered on Channel 5 in Sweden in August 2018 and is available on the SVOD platform Viaplay.

Anders Roslund and Jo Nesbø once again grab three spots each on the official weekly bestseller lists. Anders Roslund’s Knock Knock is No. 1 in hardcover and in e-books, and No. 2 in audio. Jo Nesbø’s Knife is No. 2 in e-books and No. 3 in both hardcover and audio.
The weekly Norwegian bestseller lists
Week 32’s (August 5th – 11th) official bestseller lists for Norway see Jo Nesbø’s Knife appear at No. 1 on the hardcover list, as well as No. 3 on the e-book one. Jørn Lier Horst & Thomas Enger join him on the e-book list, coming in at No. 5 with Smoke Screen.
In the paperback category Stefan Ahnhem’s Motive X is No. 4, and Jørn Lier Horst’s The Cabin is No. 5.

‘A Hustler’s Diary – The Series’ premieres on SVT in 2020
A Hustler’s Diary – The Series, created by Ivica Zubac (left) and Abbe Hassan (right), will premiere on SVT in 2020. The series is an eight-part stand-alone sequel to the film A Hustler’s Diary (2017) and follows the main character Metim, now out of prison and back to living with his mother and younger brother. Metim still hopes to become an author or maybe an actor – quite simply, to become rich and famous.
Anna Croneman, Head of Drama at SVT: “It is a warm story about kinship in alienation, insanely funny and different to everything else in the comedy genre.”
The series will be directed by Abbe Hassan and Ivica Zubac and is written by Ivica Zubac along with Marcelo Obon and Can Demirtas.

Anders Roslund’s Knock Knock reprises its feat from last week and claims three No. 1 spots also on week 31’s (July 29th – August 4th) bestseller lists for hardcover, audio and e-book. Jo Nesbø’s Knife meanwhile comes in at No. 2 in the same three categories.

The July bestseller list for children’s fiction in Norway
Jørn Lier Horst & Hans Jørgen Sandndes grab the two top spots on the official July bestseller list for children’s books in Norway. The Search for the Magician’s Tome is No. 1, staying firm at the top since the previous month, and Operation Sable Forest jumps to No. 2.
The July bestseller lists in Sweden
The official monthly bestseller lists for July have just been announced, and Jo Nesbø’s Knife grabs the No. 1 spot on the hardcover list, the audio list and the e-book list. Anders Roslund’s novel Knock Knock, published on July 19th, comes in at No. 2 in both hardcover and e-book. Lars Kepler’s Lazarus nabs the No. 5 spot in the hardcover category.
