Jo Nesbø’s upcoming novel Macbeth is No. 1 on the comprehensive bestseller list of Saxo, one of Denmark’s biggest retailers. Macbeth is part of The Hogarth Shakespeare series and will be published simultaneously in most parts of the world in April.
Kristina Ohlsson’s Unwanted soars to No. 1 on the official Norwegian paperback bestseller list. This week marks the novel’s fourth consecutive week on the list.
Operation Shipwreck, the thirteenth installment in Jørn Lier Horst & Hans Jørgen Sandnes’ Detective Agency No. 2 series, claims the No. 3 spot on the list for hardcover fiction, all genres.

Today, the film U – July 22 has its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival. It is written by Siv Rajendram Eliassen together with Anna Bache-Wiig and directed by Erik Poppe.
The story takes place on July 22, 2011, when a heavily armed right-wing extremist attacked a youth Labour summer camp on Utøya island outside Oslo. We get to follow 19-year-old Kaja in her desperate search for her sister. Filmed in a single take, the story unfolds as seen through the eyes of the victims.
U – July 22 premieres in Norway on March 9.

The list of children’s books with the highest in-store sales in January is now official, and Jørn Lier Horst is the undeniable winner! A staggering 11 out of 15 books on the list are titles by Jørn Lier Horst, either from his CLUE series written by him alone, or his Detective Agency No. 2 series, in which he’s paired up with illustrator Hans Jørgen Sandnes.
