Solvokteren Lily and the Sun Keeper
The Seasonal Quartet #2
Lily can barely remember what was like when the sun was shining over her village. The world she now knows is dark and heavy with clouds, without any chance of anything growing in the wet soil. She lives with her grandpa, who grows vegetables for their village. One day, when Lily follows her grandpa to his greenhouse, she finds a secret path into the forbidden forest. Her curiosity takes hold of her, and she decides to follow it.
There, a new world opens, and she finds herself in a vale where the sun is shining and the trees are laden with fruit. In the vale, she meets someone who will not only become her friend, but also help her try to save the world. Now, she’ll be forced to encounter her biggest fear, but she’ll also find love and happiness, not to mention the hope for spring.
Lily and the Sun Keeper is the second adventure in The Seasonal Quartet written by Maja Lunde and illustrated by Lisa Aisato.
