Halva Halva is a warm and emotional story with many laughs about the Haddad family. When the family’s rental apartment is to be renovated and the rent suddenly rises significantly, they can no longer afford to live there and must find a new home. As if that weren’t enough, the family also ends up in existential crises and unexpected situations. At the same time, the cracks in the family with roots from the Middle East are getting bigger and their differences are getting clearer – one half has moved to Sweden and the other half has grown up there, which makes it increasingly difficult for them to understand each other. The family now not only has to find a new apartment – they have to find the way home to each other.
