Actor Rebecka Harper is an exciting new star to emerge on the Swedish film and TV scene.
From a young age Harper felt drawn to the theatre world, but it was at 17, when she landed a role at Folkteatern, that she decided to wholeheartedly pursue a career in acting. She thus went on to study at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, after which she spent some years in Berlin. Upon her return to Stockholm, she attended the esteemed Stockholm University of the Arts, from which she graduated in 2025.
Harper plays one of the lead roles in SkyShowtime’s ‘Trion’ which premiered in 2026 to glowing reviews, with critics calling it one of the best Swedish TV dramas of the year. Trion is a six-part drama series adaptation of Johanna Hedman’s debut novel.

The highly anticipated Swedish drama series Trion premieres today 1 June on SkyShowtime. Based on the bestselling novel by Johanna Hedman, the six-part series tells a powerful story of love, friendship, desire and the lasting impact of the choices we make.
The series features a strong cast including Rebecka Harper, Felix Sandman, Seth Manteus and August Wittgenstein with supporting performances from Eva Röse, Nina Zanjani, Adam Pålsson and Celie Sparre.
Trion has already received glowing reviews from Swedish critics, with some calling it one of the best Swedish TV dramas of the year.

SkyShowtime is preparing a major drama adaptation of Johanna Hedman’s debut novel Trion. The series will centre around Thora, a wealthy young woman, and her boyfriend August, as their lives intersect with Hugo, an older acquaintance who becomes an unexpected houseguest in Thora’s family home.
Among the lead cast are Rebecka Harper, August Wittgenstein and Felix Sandman.
Filming is already underway, with Veronica Zacco penning the script and Anders Hazelius directing.
