Sara is a young girl who dreams of studying literature but struggles with mental health issues, feelings of anxiety, emptiness and self-doubt looming ever larger. When one day, Sara’s charismatic roommate and friend Veronica moves out, and her sister Maria leaves for London indefinitely, Sara’s life comes apart at the seams. She turns to booze, medication and self-harm to keep the demons at bay. But the combined effects of pharmaceutical side-effects and growing paranoia renders Sara a danger for herself as well as her nearest and dearest.
