In 1876, August Strindberg is penniless and once again his play “Master Olof” is rejected by the Royal Dramatic Theater. Debt collectors are knocking at his door and Strindberg is on the verge of committing suicide. This is the story of Sweden’s most well-known novelist and playwright.
